I like to draw naked figures because you do not have to hide anything in them. The artwork is made in black and white, the woman is disintegrated, unable to stand, and halved, somewhere between hope and despair, but not completely lost. It is tense, but relaxed at the same time. Frozen in time she can’t ignore reality, while she waits for something big. A person who constantly hopes that everything will be fine. This is why her deviation from the light indicates a moment of calmness.
